Our purpose of study is to understand and develop methods for restoration and conservation of forests in accordance with diverse environmental conditions of sites. Research fields widely range in scale from molecular to ecosystem level, and major fast research sites include domestic forests in Japan, and subtropical and tropical forests in Asia.
